Special Pedagogical Project in Berlin (Berlin)

Dear Language Trainers, Linguists, and Language Enthusiasts,



accelingua is a young, up-and-coming language training company serving top-brand customers throughout Germany.



Our pedagogical department is currently looking for a native speaker each of German, Spanish, French, and Italian for a special short-term materials development project in Berlin. We are interested in extremely creative and outgoing individuals with strong teaching, pedagogical, or linguistic background who have an excellent oral and written command of English and are flexibly available for a high volume of hours in February and March 2010. 




Your tasks and responsibilities:


• Participating in weekly coordination meetings and presenting status updates in English


• Accurate and timely completion of necessary documentation


• Compiling materials in your native language (either German, Spanish, French, or Italian) along precise specifications

• Working and coordinating within an intercultural team



Your profile:


• Highly motivated native speaker of either German, Spanish, French, or Italian


• University degree, preferably in a language-related field, education, or linguistics

• Ideally at least 2 years of teaching experience of your native language in Germany

• Ideally intimate knowledge of current teaching tools and materials in Germany


• Flexibility, outgoing personality, and great communication skills in English

• Residence in Berlin with valid work papers for the months of February and March

• Ready access to PC, internet, email and familiarity with standard computing applications (MS Office)


• Ability to consult constructively with the accelingua management


• Ability to take initiative and to work independently


• Professional appearance
