Financial Controller EMEA - English speaking

Your new duties and responsibilities

• Monitoring key financial figures, preparing action proposals and reporting to the regional controller. This includes ongoing observation of planned targets and results

• Maintaining and developing controlling tools to monitor financial performance of 26 Local Sales Organisations

• Providing the regional controller with support in financial analysis of monthly reports

• Budget Process and developing tools for financial planning

• Preparing investment applications and decisions

• Follow-up and active handling of internal audit actions points and Corporate Governance issues in the region

• Extensive travelling to Local Sales Organizations

• Ad-Hoc reports and on-demand analysis

• Improvement and enhancement of controlling systems

• Intensive usage of SAP R/3 modules and BW system

• Intense communication with Group Finance Head Office in Sweden

Required skills and qualifications

• A hands-on "doer" capable of developing a direction and preparing decisions on the basis of figures

• Is distinguished by good analytical skills, accuracy, creativity and detailed knowledge with an overview of the area of Finance, administration and EDP as good communicative skills combined with a personality capable of reaching acceptance within the company in different cultures

• Is successful at project work, able to motivate and work in a target-oriented manner

• Is self-motivated combined with consistency, perseverance and assertive skills as well as the necessary degree of tact

• Likes to work in a team and is a team player

• Solid educational background, successfully completed studies in business administration, international management or economics (university degree)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and controlling, preferably in an international environment

• Is highly aware of overall financial and administration contexts within a company with modern financial and planning systems

• Has good knowledge of P/L treasury/ balance sheets etc. and experience in applying IAS/ IFRS accounting rules

• Views cost centre accounting / control¬ling as an important instrument for steering and thus managing operative units

• Fluency in German ideal, but at least an understanding for the language is key

• Has very good MS Excel skills, ideally added by macro programming skills but not mandatory

• SAP/R3 experience preferable

• Experience and Interest in implementing and maintaining Corporate Governance policies
